Joslin Capital Advisers (December 2020)
Livestreamed, beginner level, 1 hour class for approximately 30 guests. Artist taught how to make a holiday ornament.

Artists Creating Together (November 2020)
The artist taught a livestreamed, 90 minute class to a group of autistic students and their student mentors, part of GVSU’s Allendale campus programming.

Foldspace Origami Convention (September 2020)
This was an international, livestreamed, 2 hour class teaching traditional waterlily and Tinygami’s original design dragonfly. The convention was streamed using Ecamm Live with step by step diagrams as picture in picture, a front facing camera on the artist, a second desktop camera to show folding each step, and a live chat where the artist was able to interact with and answer the audience’s questions.

Kent District Libraries “Summer Online” (August 2020)
Pre-recorded video tutorials for two different classes. The teen program video (20:38) featured how to fold a traditional origami frog. The kids video (19:57) featured the traditional cup, cicada, and swan.

Paper Circle (July 2020)
Pre-recorded tutorial video (21:23) teaching how to fold a four crane renzuru (connected cranes folded from a single sheet of paper).

Squarespace (June 2020)
The artist hosted her first livestreamed origami class for employees of Squarespace, a web hosting company that (coincidentally) is the platform this website is hosted on. The class was approximately 1 hour in duration and included a menko envelope, the classic crane, and an origami heart.

Artists Creating Together - Grand Valley State University, Grand Rapids, MI (June 21-23, 2019)
The artist taught a 90 minute class to a group of autistic students and their student mentors at GVSU’s Allendale campus. All of the students were able to fold both individual models they could keep and take home, as well as fold and collaboratively assemble several modular pieces. Some of the modular pieces were kept by the students and some were used as fundraising items for A.C.T. a 501c3 nonprofit organization.

Movies on Monroe - Grand Rapids, MI (July 12, 2019)
The artist taught all ages, beginner level, 2 hours of folding instruction that was part of the pre-event entertainment for families with children of all ages attending an outdoor summer movie event. The artist taught two beginner level folds for 2 continuous hours with children, many of whom had never folded origami before.

Windy City International Origami Exhibition - Township Library, Schaumburg, IL (June 21-23. 2019)
The artist taught visitors how to fold in miniature all day Saturday and part of the day Sunday.

Georgetown Township Public Library - Jenison, MI (March 23, 2019)
In this all-ages, 1 hour class, artist Stacie Tamaki taught several beginner level folds. Each attendee left with finished models to take with them as well as the ability to recreate them.

Grand Valley State University - Allendale Campus
 (February 19, 2018)
Artist delivered a one hour speaking and folding/teaching  presentation at the invitation of the Office of Multicultural Affairs. She was asked to come speak about her 2017 ArtPrize entry titled "Acceptance" that deals with the Japanese American Internment during WWII, healing, and love. She displayed the three mobiles that comprised her entry, presented a keynote slide presentation, followed at the end by teaching how to fold an origami crane so that those who wanted to learn had an opportunity to do so.  

West Michigan Origami Folding Club (June 2017)
With only one Michigan folding club located in Ann Arbor the Artist launched a West Michigan folding club in the summer of 2017. It is an informal, monthly, Saturday morning MeetUp hosted at the Kent District Library in Lowell, MI. The range of attendees has varied from young children to retirees, novice and experienced folders, and while most live in the Greater Grand Rapids area people have come from as far away as Lansing to attend. There is no cost to attend.

Grand Rapids Asian Festival - Grand Rapids, MI (June 10, 2017)
Artist was invited to give a presentation and teach an origami workshop at the inaugural Grand Rapids Asian Festival. The workshop was hosted by the Grand Rapids Art Museum's Studio. Following the workshop presentation the Artist also worked in the children's activity area teaching all ages how to fold an origami swan. 

Center for Employment Training (CET) - in San Jose, CA. (Directors Seminar) (August 25, 2010)
Artist was hired to teach an origami class at the Center for Employment Training Directors Training Conference. Held at the CET the artist taught the group how to fold an origami crane and displayed a finished set of 1000 miniature cranes.

Silicon Valley Football Classic - San Jose, CA. (December 28, 2004)
Artist was requested by the San Jose Convention Center Visitors Bureau to teach an origami class to the wives of the out of town coaches in town for the football game. Held at the Capitol Club, the artist volunteered her time to teach the women from Illinois and Alabama how to fold an origami crane and displayed a small collection of finished pieces.

Masonic Lodge - Los Gatos, CA. (1998)
Artist was asked to be a guest speaker, and brought finished pieces to exhibit and gave a folding class to the wives of the Masonic members.
